Bending an ercol Windsor chair back

We use timber with a higher moisture content and then steam it to make it supple before bending it using a hydraulic ram around a former. The timber is then kiln dried after which it will retain its shape. It's always amazing to see a solid straight piece of timber bend to such an extreme shape.
