Nick walked me back to my front door, and then shoved his hands into his front pockets. "I'm glad he likes you, he really could use a friend." Nick nodded. I smiled, "Joe's really nice." "Yeah...he was always a happy guy, really good." Then he bit his lip. "But everytime I look at him...it makes me think that its my fault." "Nick." I sighed and walked closer to him. "Remember what I said before, None of it was your fault. It was an accident, and we're lucky he's still even alive!" "I guess so." He breathed then looked back up into my eyes. He smiled gently, "Its gonna be really cool having you as a neighbor." Then he nodded his head and started walking back to his house. He looked back and waved one last time, and stepped in through his front door. I grinned to myself. He was so cute. Then I sighed, it was time to get back to unpacking. What fun. ----------------------- I awoke the next morning to the sun shining brightly on my face. I didn't have time to finish all the unpacking still, so I had no curtains yet. Groaning, I rubbed my sleepy eyes and sat up. Glancing at the clock, I saw that it was 8:45AM. Time to get up. Walking over to the window near my bed, I gazed out of it to see the Jonas' house in front of me. I smiled when I saw Nick sitting down on his bed, right across from me. It looked like he had just awoken too because his curls were all messy and ruffled. He had just picked up his guitar, and was softly plucking at it. I opened my window and leaned my elbows along the sill, listening to his music again, just like yesterday. "Morning Neighbor." I called out and smiled at him. Nick turned his head, surprised to see me, and that our bedrooms faced each other exactly. Then a smile spread across his handsome face as he put down the guitar, and approached his window also. "Well hello there, spying on me again?" He joked. I rolled my eyes, and giggled, "Oh you wish Jonas. I liked that song you were playing there though." ;) He chuckled, "I just came up with it. I woke up this morning and the notes just flowed together." "Very cool. Well I need to finish packing, see ya neighbor." I winked and went over to my walk in closet. Pulling the thin purple material over my head, I slipped my night gown off and changed into casual jean shorts, with a plain gray V-Neck. Smiling at myself in the mirror, I walked downstairs and looked at the mess before me. I had more than half of the things left to unpack, and I still had to move all of the furniture into place. This was going to take forever. Then I heard the doorbell ring. Curious, I went to my front door and opened it to reveal... ---------------------------- Hey guys!! :D +20 Comments to continue!!
