Joe's POV "Yeah, so the guest house is pretty basic. The bedroom, bathroom, and mini kitchen type thing." I explained, gesturing around the bedroom of the guesthouse, right next to the pool. The guesthouse was cozy I guess. Instead of walls, it was basically a greenhouse sort of thing with long crème curtains for privacy. At least, thats what the bedroom was like. The bathroom was a mosaic tile room and the kitchen was just ordinary, a smaller replica of the one in the main house. "This is great." Lily smiled, falling backwards onto the queen sized bed in the middle of the room. The theme of the room was White Eyelet. Whatever that meant. Mom had fixed up the room to Lilys liking, she was thrilled to have another girl around. "Thanks again, for letting me stay here and all." "No problem." I assured her, looking down at her from the doorway. "Your mom did a great job decorating." she commented, eyeing the wicker laundry hamper and island painting hanging on the far, off-white wall. I couldnt help but blurt, "I helped!" She giggled and sat up from the bed, staring at me pointedly. "You can come in, you know. It is YOUR guesthouse." "I know," I laughed, looking at her ungodly gorgeous face. She wore an airy white sundress and lying on the all white bed, she looked like something out of a Vogue magazine that I saw my mom reading all the time. "Whatre you staring at?" she asked, lifting her thin light brown eyebrows at me. "You." I told her, sitting down next to her on her bed. "Me?" she asked, pointing to herself in shock. "Yes you." I laughed, touching her bare, golden shoulder. "Youre perfect." She giggled and wrapped our fingers around each other. "I know." "Vain now are we?" I asked, staring into her perfect blue-grey eyes. "Okay Mr. I-spend-more-time-talking-to-my-hair-than-my-brothers." she shot back teasingly, hitting me over the shoulder with one of the big fluffy pillows lying on the bed. I grabbed another pillow, "Oh yeah?" She nodded, sure of herself. I smacked her over the head with the pillow. Feathers flew everywhere. "My bad." I smirked. "You did not just do that." she said monotonously. "Yeah. I think I did." She smacked me harder than I hit her. Ten times harder. Who knew someone so dainty had so much strength? "OUCH!" I winced, rubbing my head with my hand as feathers clouded over us. They drizzled down on us like confetti and I stood up and grabbed three more pillows. Apparently Id need reinforcement. "That hurt?" she simpered, pushing her bottom lip out adorably. "Nope, did this?" I asked, smacking her in the back with one of my pillows. "JOE!" she shrieked, jumping off the bed and attacking me with three of her own pillows. Feather flew around us like white confetti and at some points, I got some stuck in my mouth. This one pillow shove turned into the most epic pillow fight in Jonas history. Then somehow there was some kissing involved And everyone knows what THATS going to lead to "Joe, Lily!" Frankies tiny voice rang through the feather-filled room. I instantaneously stopped caressing Lilys cheek and her hand flew out of my hair quickly, almost getting caught. I winced slightly at the tug. Neither of us parted from each others lips and Frankie had to cough loudly before we disentangled ourselves. She gave an apologetic glance before we both scrambled to our feet. Frankie mightve got the wrong idea, seeing us both lying on the floor covered in feathers "Hey Frankie. Whats up?" Lily asked sweetly but ever-so-awkwardly. "Time for dinner. All that kissing mustve worked you guys up an appetite." he grinned and began to run out of the bedroom. "Franklin!" I shouted after him, brushing some feathers from my hair before sprinting after him. I heard Lily laugh from behind us and she chased after us, barefoot, from the guesthouse all the way to the main house dining room. We all slowed to a stop when we saw Nick setting the table and Kevin poking his finger into a huge bowl of mashed potatoes. Mom swatted his finger away and he laughed and took his seat at the table, as did everyone else. When everyone was seated, we said grace and then everyone started talking. "So, Lily. Do you like your new 'apartment'?" Mom smiled kindly. "Like it? I love it. Its perfect. Thanks so much for everything. Really." Lily smiled warmly at Mom and then at me. "I think Im gonna puke." Frankie mumbled. Lily threw me a silent laugh and I laughed back. Everything was finally perfect for everyone That was, until I looked over at Nicks emotionless face.
