30 Minutes of high quality raw footage from a 1985 Seaside Heights TV commercial. Great shots of the beaches and boardwalk, Rainbow Rapids, Maruca''s pizza, Razzles nightclub, Pac Man,Casino Pier, Sun-N-Fun signs and more. Barnegat Bay activities like crabbing, fishing, jet ski, and power-sailing. Shots of some stands, merry-go-round, Sonny's Rickey's, Midway, and the rides. The Jersey Shore raw footage did not have sound so we added Bruce Springsteen - Born in the USA music. Almost 2 hours of raw footage was found by Peter Smith and then converted and edited by Joe Verderosa of Greenrose Media. We're not sure who the original producer was.

Feb 7, 2012 - It was a nice place to be back then. These days, especially avoid going there for Spring Break. Every wannabe Jersey Shore college brat from out of state shows up. *shakes head*

Feb 8, 2012 - The part that I love the most is how cut-down it seems to me because we had over two hours. Thanks Joe, editing this had got to have been a tedious effort.

Feb 8, 2012 - You definitely got the right shots from the footage. Also, I remember playing this very Bruce album. It belonged to and was the favorite album my brother Phil, and I got in trouble by him for playing with his stereo when that was a big "don't"! I was 14 when this was filmed in June '85. I remember all of this, but they were dormant memories: only to return by watching the film. I love the 60's and 70's videos, but this more special to me in a way, as Chris Vaz put it , because it's "our time".

Apr 15, 2012 - back in the 80s my parents would never take me to the beach in Seaside because my dad couldn't bring beer onto the beach lol so they went to Sandy Hook all the time instead
