The second The Dark Knight Rises viral campaign, which launched Dec. 8, 2011 with "CIA Documents" surfacing on the Empire and Wired magazine websites, as well as the firerises Twitter account. Users were greeted with a countdown clock after discovering the Operation Early Bird website. When the clock expired, a map revealed and the official The Dark Knight Rises website updated with audio of the reading of map coordinates. As the map coordinates were ingested on Operation Early Bird, the locations of IMAX screens were revealed. The IMAX theaters will screen the TDKR prologue on Dec. 13, 2011 for participants of the viral campaign.
