José Lile Mayor, 49, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2012. He was born Nov. 23, 1962 in Cuba and lived for many years in Union City before moving to Randolph. José was a retired Navy veteran serving in Desert Storm. He was also a customer service manager for Lazy-Boy Furniture Co. José was an active member of the International Church of Christ as well as a pack leader for the Cub Scouts Troop 166 in Randolph. José was the beloved husband of Lillian Mayor (nee Rodriguez) and the cherished son of Regina Mayor and the late Virgilio. He was the devoted father of José Antonio and Gabriel Alejandro Mayor. José was the dear brother of Reina Mayor as well as the dear son-in-law of Margarita Rodriguez and brother-in-law of José Rodri-guez. He was also the loving nephew of Karina Jautz-Brito and husband Orlando and the dear uncle of Jaselin Rodriguez. The funeral will be on Satur-day, January 14, 2012 at the Leber Funeral Home in Union City. Visitation will be on Friday, January 13, 2012, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mayor family fund c/o Leber Funeral Home, 2000 Kennedy Boulevard, Union City, NJ 07087.
