A portion of the southwestern end of the ranch is in Zapata County. General:This area is famous for huge deer and excellent bird hunting as well. The surrounding ranches are large and most have been owned by the same families for many years. In addition, several creeks and drainages traverse the ranch. Vegetation: This ranch has just about every variety of browse and forbes that people look for due to the variety of terrain and soils.
