After buying Mario Kart 7, and after playing through Rainbow Road a lot, I was like "This music must be orchestrated!!". So, I spent 3 days creating a midi for the Rainbow Road music, and then I orchestrated it. The midi is not exact (there's absence of some sci-fi effects since I don't have anything that can make those sounds) and it's not perfect, but you can tell that it's the Rainbow Road music. Anyway, I orchestrated Rainbow Road with EWQL Symphonic Orchestra, Symphonic Choirs and Hollywood Brass. How is it? Download link just in case anyone wants an mp3: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=K8FNCQ4P Also, am I the first one to create a midi for a music track of Mario Kart 7?

Dec 22, 2011 - What I meant was sometimes the bass didn't correspond with the rest of the song. It sort of stayed at E when at around 0:20 it was supposed to switch to A flat then A. And at one point it sort of went sharp when it wasn't supposed to (I think it was around 0:43) and it sounded very weird. The only reason I know this stuff is because I have perfect pitch, and no offence but I sort of cringe and get a little itchy when things don't sound right, and that didn't sound right

Feb 1, 2012 - yeaahhh bro !!! You're the first to upload a midi mario kart 7
CapsuleJX Says:
Feb 4, 2012 - I haven't heard that, but I know there were employees who downloaded the infringing content. Also, if you're saying this, are you a SOPA/PIPA supporter? If you are, please go home and rethink your actions.
thewakkydude Says:
Feb 4, 2012 - I don't support SOPA, but I think it's over exaggerated to hell and back and it won't do jack shit.
CapsuleJX Says:
Feb 5, 2012 - I think it would probably do too much, causing an upsurge in piracy. So, it would probably do nothing.

Mar 18, 2012 - I meant the notes of the bass doesn't correspond with the rest of the music. It sort of clashes if you like. It is not the same notes as the original bass.

Dec 22, 2011 - That's how the song has that particular bass. I used a single double bass pizzicato for this one. The bass in the original was so low and was hard to hear clearly. I listened carefully and the bass instrument in the original does do that (goes up and down in register throughout the music), though it's not as loud as I have mine so it's not as noticable in the original, but It's there.
