This video shows many great improvements to Sow's Ear! Trinity River Adventure Inn's Sow's Ear is a 3 BR/2 BA cabin with a full laundry, kitchen and wood stove. It has a great front porch that has lovely wicker furniture for enjoying the birds, deer and river, which is a 30 second walk from your door. Sow's Ear is located in Bucktail near BLM Bucktail River Access and Bucktail Hole, Lewiston, California (about 50 minutes west of Redding). This is a dog-friendly, non-smoking establishment with two river locations and six cabins. Excellent year-round fishing is available along the 600' of river frontage next to Sow's Ear. Guests have full use of the their hosts' river frontage for fishing, hammocks for lounging and hot tub overlooking the river, as well as the BBQs and dining set on the patio beside the river. Winter steelhead and salmon fishing are excellent. Your guide can pick you up at your cabin. If you have a boat or raft, you can tie it to the trees in front of your cabin. There is plenty of off-street parking and this location is end of the road quiet and peaceful. It's a wonderful spot for dogs to run, play and swim. Spring through fall, kayak on fun, safe Ocean Kayak sit-on-tops.
