Megan Hotchner had her head leaning against the window of the taxi that was driving them to the hotel, where they'd be staying for two amazing months, without school. The words 'without school' already made Megan smile. Velvet was lying on her lap, half asleep, as her parents were talking about some things the hotel would have. They had a pool, which was great. They had a huge park, a lake and so much more... But in England they also had bad weather. Megan could only hope the weather would be good. Once the big hotel got in sight, Megan lifted her head from the window to take a better look at it. It was huge, and looked very classy. And seeing the people standing outside and the dogs running around playing with each other, made it obvious that there would be a lot more dogs around this holiday. What Megan also noticed was that there was a dog sitting next to the stone path people used as a low-speed road. The dog was looking towards one of the rooms and looked straight into Megan's eyes as the car passed him by. It was a blonde dog, which Megan recognized as a Golden Retriever. "Wake up from your thoughts, sweetheart. We're here." Megan's head snapped up and she looked at her mother, who flashed her a smile before she stepped out of the car. Megan opened the door of the taxi as her father already started to grab the luggage out of the car, waking up Velvet because he accidentally dropped something on the ground. The little dog stood up and jumped out of Megan's lap and onto the English grounds. Soon after, they found themselves in the lobby, checking in to officially start their holiday. "I hope you really don't mind having a room on your own." Mr. Hotchner said as he handed his daughter the key to her room. "I won't be alone, Velvet will be with me." Megan replied, smiling at her father as she took the key from him, which made him smile back at her. The family made their way upstairs and Megan looked at the number that was written on her key. Room number 16. Her eyes were focused on the golden plates with the numbers until she found her room. She opened the door and laughed a little when Velvet hurried inside and jumped onto the bed, jumped off of it and ran around, underneath or over the other pieces of furniture. Megan walked up to the open window and closed it, then dropping her bags onto her bed after making sure Velvet wouldn't be crushed underneath it -- the dog was running everywhere. When she turned around she had to stop her tracks to make sure not to run into an open window. The window that she had just closed. She frowned and closed it again, turning around and walking over to the kitchen, turning back when she heard a soft click. She didn't move. She just stared at the window that was, once again, open. There wasn't any wind, or no problems closing it, and it was really closed. "This... This is going to be very interesting..." Megan whispered. -- First... Sorry I didn't do anything with Grace's Diary (which won the voting) yesterday like I promised. I just didn't have enough time :S Second.... WHO'S READY FOR A CREEPY HALLOWEEN-MARATHON WITH ALL THE RIGHT MOVES?! :D I know I'm ready! I'm all Halloween-y :D
