~ M i l e s . W h i s k e r s ; Miles was born on the 26th of August, 2005. His parents were Flower and Zaphod. His litter became quite famous, they all appeared on Meerkat Manor. He had two sisters, both of which are still alive today; Ella (Mango/Sophie) and Billy(Chutney/Angie), and a brother, Baker (Attila/himself). Miles played as Achillies in season 2, then later as himself in season 4. The events we saw on Meerkat Manor were true to some extent; Zarathustra (Zorro) did lead a roving group of five males and joined the Commandos, where they kicked out the natal males. Zara' was the eldest and easily took dominance. He proved to be quite a vicious leader, much like his father, Yossarian (when he was patriarch of the Whiskers). In a usually rare case; Miles was evicted. You'd think after seeing so many evictions, you'd get a bit use to seeing that happen.. But, seeing Miles' face at 1:25 was quite the heart-breaker... Although, I do not blame Zarathustra at all - he was simply defending his crown. Sadly, Zara's reign was cut short - after reaccepting Miles back into the group, Zara' was predatored (February 2008). The vacancy for dominant male was viciously fought over between Miles and his brother, Baker. Miles - probably weakened from his eviction - lost the fight. However, in April 2008, Miles rechallenged Baker and won. Upsettingly, disaster hit the Commandos, the group was diagnosed with TB (a fatal disease). Baker was the first to succumb in May, 2008, followed by Karim (Duke). The next month, Miles, his mate Zorilla (Nikita) and Cody (Jogu Whiskers' son) all died of TB. The uncurable disease continued until the Commandos were lost in June, 2009. It was a very unfortunate ending for a dominant male who's reign had barely even begun. Miles suffered a lot for a male meerkat, but at least he'll never feel pain again. I'll miss you little man. ♥ - - THIS VIDEO IS DEDICATED TOOOO.... *drumroll please..* . . . BRITTANY~ [FlowerOurQueen] Brit' has been around on YouTube nearly a whole year longer than me. To be totally honest, I wasn't too sure about her when I first met her. Why? Because I was actually jealous of her; she made amazing videos and was (in my eyes) the highest, most respected meerkat roleplayer on YouTube, with a reknowned character, Ruby Talon, who I saw as having 'Queen' status (I mean that in a non-narcissistic way). Back in 2008/2009ish, we didn't really talk that much.. However, after many great editors in the community left, we began to talk more often. I got to know her, and discovered just how truly awesome she is. :3 I now understand why she was (and still is) so loved by many, she is the most enthusastic and supportive friend anyone could ever ask for! She's always so positive, mature, beautiful and very creative in everything she does. Today, I consider Brittany a HUGE inspiration and an absolute joy to talk to!
