I originally found reference to this Steve Dahl guest appearance at WLPX, QFM in Milwaukee, from shortly after Disco Demolition night in July of 1979, at the following site: http://93qfm.blogspot.com/2007/01/steve-dahl-mcbean-wlpx-1979-aircheck.html but I was never able to locate the audio, until today. I found it as an MP3 here: http://odeo.com/episodes/5884233-Dahl-Part-One-Mp3 and as usual in my further attempts to catalog all that is Dahl here it is now on You Tube! Enjoy Here is some of the description from the original QFM blog site, click the link at top for more: "It was on the heels of Steve Dahls infamous Comiskey Park Disco Demolition fiasco in late summer of 1979 that LPX invited Dahl to spend a Saturday afternoon on the air w/ Jim McBean... Steve and Jim interview and do gas with the guys from Guru Guru .They sing "My Balona"and theres a classic Suburpia (sub shop) commercial. Also, Steve comments on his grade school days with David Lee Roth from Van Halen (Steve was not nice to him)... Riddled with Steve Dahl mocking Getty Lee from Rush. He talks of his one time work at Taco Bell and McBean tells the funky story about the exploits of "Old Man Coleman"- the owner of the Coleman Cooler manufacturing company... Steve finds out for the first time what sausage is encased in. He talks about John Wayne Gacy and Ed Gein..." And don't forget, the Steve Dahl show is on right now: http://www.Dahl.com/podcasts http://www.Dahl.com/iTunes
