Nov 5, 2011 - I have thought of organising a harambee to refurbish police stations after I saw Makupa and Central in Mombasa. It was quite shameful. Then I thought, we do pay taxes, these taxes are stolen, misused or used to pay ridiculous salaries to politicians, including something called entertainment allowance hehehe. In as much as I was ashamed at the state of the stations, it is the duty of the govt to make them more presentable, numbers working, vehicles etc.The same police will sell the furniture!
